The Montreal Canadiens were defeated in the Stanley Cup finals in five games by the Tampa Bay Lightning but Nick Suzuki was one of many bright spots for the club. The 21-year-old center scored seven goals and recorded 16 points in 22 playoff games. That strong performance came on the heels of a solid regular season that saw him score 15 goals with 41 points in 56 games. Suzuki was originally selected 13th overall by the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He was subsequently traded to Montreal in the Max Pacioretty deal back in 2019 as Vegas went all-in on their efforts to win a championship. Since then, Suzuki has turned into a Top-6 forward and is turning into a fantasy darling. In a twist of fate, he also reached the Stanley Cup finals before the Golden Knights. --Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
