Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki signed an eight-year, $63 million contract with the club on Tuesday. He's going into the final year of his entry-level contract and will carry a $7.875 million cap hit from 2022-23. It's a well-deserved deal for the 22-year-old, who impressed last season with 41 points in 56 regular-season games and led the Canadiens with 16 points during their run to the Stanley Cup finals. Suzuki's new contract will make him Montreal's top earner among forwards as he surpasses Brendan Gallagher's $6.5 million salary-cap hit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
