2 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Nick Richards has been getting praise from head coach Steve Clifford. The 24-year-old has reportedly looked good during training camp. Despite that, Richards is expected to remain the backup center heading into the season. Mason Plumlee should be the starter, but Richards could see a decent role behind him. Although, it's worth mentioning that P.J. Washington and Mark Williams will see playing time as well. Richards will have to battle if he wants consistent minutes in the rotation.
