Nick Lodolo To Start Rehab Program Monday
1 year agoCincinnati Reds left-hander Nick Lodolo (leg), who is rehabbing from a left-tibia stress reaction, had a positive MRI exam on Wednesday and showed improvement. He will have his walking boot removed on Monday and will report to Arizona to start a rehab program. It's nice progress for the 25-year-old southpaw, but he still has a ways to go to before he rejoins Cincinnati's starting rotation, which likely won't be until some point in August. He had a 6.29 ERA (5.81 FIP), 1.75 WHIP, 10 walks and 47 strikeouts in 34 1/3 innings over seven starts before his injury, but Lodolo is deserving of being stashed in deep-mixed fantasy leagues because of his high strikeout upside when healthy.
