Nick Foles Didn't Suffer Major Injury Monday Night
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles (hip) left the Monday night game against the Vikings on a cart after a hard hit with time expiring in the fourth quarter, but sources say that he didn't suffer a major injury. Initial tests showed no fracture in his hip and he'll undergo further evaluation. Foles will have extra time to heal during the Week 11 bye, but it doesn't mean he'll be ready for Week 12 against the Packers. If he can't play by then, Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder), who was out on Monday night, could be an option to return to the starting job against Green Bay. Foles was just 15-for-26 for 106 yards with an interception on Monday. Neither Foles nor Trubisky have been able to do much for this offense in 2020. Trubisky would be a low-end QB2 if he were to start over Foles in Week 12.
