Nick Cousins Expected To Return Tuesday
10 months agoFlorida Panthers forward Nick Cousins (concussion) is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday to take on the visiting Philadelphia Flyers. The veteran suffered a concussion in a Jan. 2 game against the Arizona Coyotes on a hit from Jason Zucker. Zucker was suspended for three games for the retaliatory hit after Cousins had slammed Coyotes blue-liner Juuso Valimaki hard into the boards. Cousins has recorded a pair of goals and five points across 37 games in a bottom-six role that has seen him average 12:43 of ice time per game this season. He also has 45 hits, 63 shots, 20 penalty minutes, and a minus-10 rating on his ledger. Cousins has tallied 66 goals and 170 points across 560 career regular-season games with the Flyers, Coyotes, Canadiens, Golden Knights, Predators, and Panthers.
