Neil Walker's Blast Propels Yankees To Victory
Neil Walker provided the biggest hit of the game. Starting at first base over Luke Voit and Greg Bird, the 33-year-old stepped up to the plate in the seventh with two runners on and crushed a pitch to right field for a three-run blast. The Yankees were being shut out at that point, immediately taking a two-run lead with the shot. It was Walker's 10th home run of the season, as the Yankees tied a league record of players on a roster with double-digit home runs in one season.
