Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk came away with three assists as the team beat the Rangers 6-3 on Tuesday, becoming the first side in NHL history to win 15 of its first 16 games in a season. Pionk has been an integral part of the success, totaling 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) in 16 games. This puts him tied with teammate Josh Morrissey for the second-most points among all blue-liners. The two have feasted at the back despite skating on different defensive pairings and power-play units. Pionk doesn't shy away from the dirty work either, having registered 28 blocks and 21 hits for the campaign.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
