Mookie Betts Out of Lineup Friday, Will Undergo X-rays on Toe
Mookie Betts (toe) suffered a stubbed toe at home on Wednesday and will miss Friday's game against the New York Yankees. Betts is "day to day" and will require X-rays, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced. Fantasy managers should closely monitor Betts' status, as the nine-time All-Star has been among the sport's elite players for a decade. Although the 32-year-old's numbers are down this season, he has still hit a respectable .254/.338/.405 with eight home runs and five stolen bases across 234 plate appearances. The Dodgers will replace him at short on Friday with Miguel Rojas, who will bat ninth.
