Major League Baseball has canceled three more days of spring training games from March 5-7, according to a league spokesman. The earliest spring training games can start now is March 8. But that's also contingent on the league and players getting a new collective bargaining agreement done by then, so more spring training games could be canceled soon. The two sides met all of last week and seem to be making progress, so there is at least optimism that a new CBA will be finalized before the league's Feb. 28 deadline. If a deal is struck before March, it would leave three weeks for spring training games before Opening Day. But if a deal isn't in place by Monday, regular season games would be in jeopardy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
