Mitchell Trubisky Shines In Dominant Win
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky completed 24-of-35 passes for 265 yards, two touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and one interception in the Bears dominant 41-17 win over the Jaguars in Week 16. Trubisky's late-season resurgence continued with another efficient performance. Does the fourth-year quarterback still make awful decisions in the red zone? Yes, as evidenced by the bad throw he made in the red zone towards the end of the first half. But Trubisky continues to surprise with better accuracy and his athleticism has opened up a once-dormant Bears offense. Trubisky now has one rushing touchdown, 10 passing touchdowns and is averaging 248.6 passing yards a game over his last five contests since being re-inserted into the lineup. He will, however, have a tough test next week against the Packers in Week 17
