4 years agoFormer Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is signing an undisclosed deal with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday. The writing was on the wall for Trubisky to leave Chicago when the Bears signed Andy Dalton the other day. The 26-year-old former second overall pick will head to Buffalo after the Bears declined his fifth-year option. Trubisky was a Pro Bowler in 2018 when he threw for 3,223 yards with 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, but he was mostly inconsistent in his four seasons in Chicago. In 10 starts last season, he threw for just 2,055 yards with 16 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Trubisky is a mobile QB, though, and he should be a serviceable backup behind rising star Josh Allen.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
