Mitch Trubisky Lays A Dud In Opener
5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky completed 26 of 45 passes for 228 yards and one interception in the Bears 10-3 loss to the Packers. The third-year quarterback and the Bears offense never got anything going, and Trubisky added only 11 rushing yards in the game. The Bears offense looked lost at times, failing to cash in on decent field position with bad penalties and unsuccessful passing plays. The rust of not playing one single snap in the preseason bore itself out throughout the game for Trubisky, and the Packers Defense stifled the Bears at every turn. From a fantasy perspective, it seems likely that the Bears offense and Trubisky can only go up from here.
