1 month agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Mitch Moreland entered the game in the sixth inning of Sunday's game against the Orioles and finished with three hits in as many at-bats, along with a run batted in and two runs scored. This was Moreland's second three-hit game this season and it bumped his batting average to .243. Earlier this week he hit his first home run since May, but his season hasn't been as fruitful as expected. Dealing with some injuries and inconsistent playing time, Moreland has worked his way out of relevancy in mixed leagues. He still has some value in AL-only formats.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
