Mitch Haniger To Resume Baseball Activity
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mitch Haniger's (forearm) X-rays showed that his fractured forearm has healed, so he can now begin baseball activity. Haniger still has a ways to go before he's back in the team's big-league lineup, but this represents a pretty big step in his rehab after having surgery in June to fix a fracture in his right forearm. The 32-year-old could be back with the Gigantes by mid- to late-August as long as he doesn't have any setbacks along the way. For what it's worth, he'll be eligible to come off the injured list on Aug. 13. Haniger probably won't provide much help in fantasy the rest of the way when he does return, as he was hitting just .230/.281/.372 with four homers and 22 RBI in 148 at-bats before getting hurt.
