11 months agoDallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen picked up a lower-body injury in Thursday's 5-4 overtime loss to Colorado. He exited the action early in the third period after crashing into Stars goaltender Scott Wedgewood. Heiskanen finished with 14:58 of ice time and had one assist in the contest, which Dallas lost after blowing a two-goal lead in the third period. The Finnish rearguard is a huge presence at the back for the Stars, and the team will be desperate for some good news as evaluations on Heiskanen continue on Friday.
