Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen (knee) is considered month-to-month after undergoing surgery. Dallas will be without its No. 1 defenseman for a third consecutive game on Tuesday against the Anaheim Ducks and won't have him back anytime soon. The knee injury will also force Heiskanen to skip the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off tournament. Heiskanen is a true workhorse for the Stars, averaging a massive 25:10 of ice time per game. He has amassed 25 points (five goals, 20 assists) in 50 games with 108 shots and 85 blocks. With Heiskanen out, Brendan Smith has a chance to become a regular in the lineup. Thomas Harley, who already leads the Stars' blue line with 26 points, will carry additional fantasy value as Heiskanen's replacement on the top power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
