Miles Sanders Now Dealing With Shoulder Injury
1 year agoCarolina Panthers head coach Frank Reich said that running back Miles Sanders (shoulder) will not practice on Wednesday due to a shoulder issue. Sanders has been on the injury report all year so far with a groin injury he dealt with in training camp, but he hasn't missed any time. It remains to be seen how serious the 26-year-old's shoulder injury is, but we should have a better idea of his status heading into the Week 6 game against the Miami Dolphins after a few more days. Meanwhile, Chuba Hubbard, who has been more efficient than Sanders through five weeks, is worth a speculative waiver-wire pickup if he's available in your league. In his first year in Carolina, Sanders is averaging a paltry 3.1 yards per carry on 61 rushing attempts. He's racked up 190 rushing yards and a touchdown and 81 receiving yards and a score on 15 catches.
