Mike Moustakas Hits Go-Ahead Homer
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Mike Moustakas hit a two-run homer to take the lead in the 14th inning against the Astros Wednesday night. Moose has been absolutely on fire lately hitting .370 with 13 runs scored, eight homers, and 13 RBI in the past two weeks. Five of those homers have come in the past week with a .417 batting average. He's always been known for his power but this season he's also bringing a very nice .278/.346/.598 triple slash with the 21 homers. His second base eligibility makes him that much more valuable. Keep him rolling in lineups and expect a little more against righties (.284/.356/.598) than lefties (.264/.321/.597).
