9/6:Seattle Mariners starter Mike Leake picked up his first win since June 23, tossing six innings while allowing two unearned runs to beat the Orioles 5-2. Leake (9-9) had been 0-5 over his last 12 starts but the quality outing put him in the win column and lowered his ERA to 4.11. It has been a solid, if unspectacular, season for the veteran right-hander and will get close to completing 200 innings in 2018. Seattle's playoff hopes have grown dim over the past few weeks but expect Leake to take the ball, if healthy, for the rest of his starts this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
