2 years agoMontreal Canadiens winger Mike Hoffman (lower body) will rejoin the action Saturday versus L.A. A lower-body injury has forced him to miss eight games, but Hofmann has now been cleared to play, and he will slot into the third line next to Kirby Dach and Juraj Slafkovsky. The veteran sniper had clearly his best spell of the season right before getting injured, registering six points in six games. He's on five goals and three assists for the whole season with 16 games played. Hoffman's best days are behind him, but he's a savvy scorer and Saturday's matchup puts him in a spot where he has a chance to do some scoring against a team that is giving up 3.59 goals per game this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
