Montreal Canadiens winger Mike Hoffman (lower-body) sat out Monday's practice after being injured over the weekend against Philadelphia. The team has announced that Hoffman was being evaluated for a lower-body problem. It's currently unknown if Hoffman can play Tuesday versus Buffalo. The veteran sniper has begun to recover from an awful start to the season and bagged his sixth point in six games via an assist against the Flyers. He has tallied five goals and three assists overall this season in 16 games. Juraj Slafkovsky moved to the second line in Monday's practice and could be set to play a major role in Tuesday's matchup if Hoffman isn't healthy enough to play.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
