Miguel Andujar Dealing With Hand Issue

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that third baseman Miguel Andujar (hand) has been dealing with "a little bit of a hand issue" and soreness in his hand/wrist area. Andujar underwent X-rays and an MRI exam, and we'll let you know the results when we have them. As a result of his hand issue, Andujar will start the game on the bench for the third straight game on Thursday against the Seattle Mariners. The 26-year-old has been very average in 2021, hitting .253/.284/.383 with six home runs and 12 RBI in 154 at-bats, and he won't be a must-stash in deep mixed leagues if he winds up needing a stint on the injured list. The speedy Tim Locastro will get another start in left field and is hitting ninth on Thursday against Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert. He has three hits in his first nine at-bats since being traded from Arizona. Locastro has elite speed, but he's an unattractive low-upside daily play while hitting ninth.
