2 years agoNew Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (foot) showed up at practice briefly on Wednesday but didn't actually participate and left as the team went through a stretch. Thomas missed all of the 2021 campaign with an ankle injury, and although this isn't related to that injury, he now hasn't played since Week 3 after a strong start to the year (16 catches, 171 yards and three TDs). The 29-year-old will need to make a lot of progress in the next two days if he is to have a shot at returning in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders. Jarvis Landry (ankle) has also missed the last few games, so if the two continue to sit out this weekend, Chris Olave, Tre'Quan Smith and Marquez Callaway will continue to operate as the top three pass-catchers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
