Michael Thomas A Risk/Reward Proposition
1 year agoThe Athletic's Larry Holder writes that we are in "see-it-to-believe-it" mode with New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas after the 2019 Offensive Player of the Year has played in just three games since Week 14 of 2020 due to injuries. However, he was a full participant in training camp practices and played in the preseason opener. The 30-year-old is motivated to show that he can still play in the NFL, and the Saints could use a viable complement in the offense next to second-year wideout Chris Olave. Holder thinks Thomas could be a sneaky addition to fantasy rosters, but it's also a risky thought. For what it's worth, he had 16 catches for 171 yards and three touchdowns in three games in 2022. If he can stay healthy, he should be a solid WR4/flex option for fantasy managers.
