New Jersey Devils center Michael McLeod scored the team's first goal in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Detroit, stretching his point streak to three games. He fired off four shots in total and delivered five hits as well in 15:35 of ice time. McLeod boasts only eight points for the season, but the Devils are currently rolling with a depleted roster and it's helped the 23-year-old to eat up some extra minutes, which have given him a chance to contribute more offensively. He has much more hits (64) than shots (38) to his name, which tells you everything about his usual role on the team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
