Michael Hutchinson Will Patrol The Crease On Tuesday
7 years agoWinnipeg Jets netminder Michael Hutchinson will start in net against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday. Since the acquisition of Steve Mason over the summer, Hutchinson has been relegated to the Manitoba Moose (AHL) and has been stellar, leading the league in save percentage (0.942) and lowest goals-against total (41). Although he has only started two games in the NHL this season, he won both and posted a .933 save percentage and a 2.00 goals-against average. With Mason out with injury for two to three weeks, Hutchinson is worth picking up and stashing because Winnipeg is likely to rest Connor Hellebuyck down the stretch.
