Michael Fulmer Dealing With Jet Lag, Still Picks Up Win Wednesday
7 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitchcer Michael Fulmer went 5 2/3 innings and picked up a win against the Twins on Wednesday. Fulmer allowed one earned run, picked up five strikeouts, allowed three free passes, and managed to throw 112 pitches. He did not have the prettiest outing, but was struggling with jet lag from the Tigers recent trip to Seattle and now Minnesota. He woke up sluggish and tired and felt it during warm-ups, but helped Detroit stop a five-game skid. Fulmer has a tough matchup with the Angels in his next outing, but the Tigers start a homestand that should get him feeling good
