Former title challenger Michael Chandler suffered a third-round TKO loss to Paddy Pimblett in the co-main event of UFC 314 on Saturday. Chandler didn't have much to offer Pimblett as he was dominated and brutalized up until the finishing sequence. The loss marked a third consecutive defeat for Chandler, who hasn't won since a 2022 knockout of former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson. The defining moment came in the third round when Chandler got hit with a devastating knee, opening a significant cut below his left eye. Seizing the opportunity, Pimblett secured a takedown and finished Chandler with punches and elbows from the full mount. In 13:07 of action, Chandler landed four takedowns and 11 significant strikes. --Alen Kurbasic
