2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that running back Michael Carter (ankle) is doubtful to play in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Carter is dealing with a low-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 12, but it looks like he'll miss at least one game. The 23-year-old was unable to practice on Wednesday and Thursday. James Robinson, who was a healthy scratch last week, figures to be active this weekend, but rookie Zonovan Knight and Ty Johnson are expected to handle most of the backfield work in Carter's absence. Knight saw a team-high 14 carries last Sunday and ran for 69 yards, adding three catches for 34 yards through the air. The 21-year-old could have RB2 upside if he again leads the Jets backfield this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
