4 years agoDriving-under-the-influence charges against Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III have been dismissed due to evidentiary concerns. Gordon plead guilty to reckless driving for excessive speeding. The 27-year-old was arrested last October for speeding while intoxicated. It's good news for both him and the Broncos, but there's still a chance that the NFL could hand down a suspension to begin the 2021 season. In his first season in Denver after five years with the Chargers, Gordon saw 215 carries for 986 yards (4.6 yards per carry) and nine touchdowns. He also caught 32 passes for 158 yards and one touchdown. Gordon should enter 2021 as the team's primary back yet again and should be targeted as an RB2.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
