Melvin Gordon III Scores Lone Offensive Touchdown Sunday

Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III had his first touchdown of the year and the team's only offensive score in Sunday night's 11-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3. He rushed for 26 yards and the one touchdown on 12 carries (2.2 yards per tote) while also catching five of six targets for an additional 29 yards. Gordon's five catches and 29 yards were second on the team behind receiver Courtland Sutton, and he finished with just one fewer touch than backfield mate Javonte Williams. The 29-year-old also fumbled twice in the game, but both were recovered by Denver. Unfortunately for Williams' fantasy managers, Gordon remains heavily involved in this backfield. It should continue in Week 4 against the division-rival Raiders, where Gordon will be an RB3/flex option.
