2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (neck) was limited on Monday and Tuesday before putting in a full practice on Wednesday. He was removed from the final injury report this week and will play on Thursday night in Week 5 against the Indianapolis Colts. Gordon has fumbled four times in four games so far this year, but he'll head into Thursday night's game as the clear lead back for Denver after Javonte Williams (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL and LCL on Sunday. Mike Boone and recent addition Latavius Murray could also be involved, but the 29-year-old should lead the backfield in touches against a Colts defense that is allowing only 89.5 rushing yards per game so far. With the expanded role, Gordon enters this week with clear RB2 upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
