Melvin Gordon III Good To Go Against Raiders
2 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (neck) popped up on the injury report this week, but he was taken off the final injury report on Friday after getting in a full practice. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Gordon will reprise his role as a frustrating backfield complement to Javonte Williams in a Week 4 matchup against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders, who have allowed just over 100 yards per game on the ground through three games. Gordon, not Williams, scored the team's first rushing touchdown last week, but he played only 38 percent of the snaps and has averaged a weak 3.9 yards per carry so far in 2022. In an offense that has looked very slugging early on, Gordon is nothing more than a low-upside RB3/flex for fantasy managers while sharing touches with the more explosive Williams.
