Mecole Hardman Has Made Improvements
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman has the best opportunity to be this offense's breakout player of the year in 2021. Through minicamp, Hardman showed that he has made sizable improvements, whether it's his route-running, his consistency catching the ball or his overall demeanor when on the practice field. "I think he's hungrier than he's ever been," safety Tyrann Mathieu said of Hardman. Hardman hasn't established himself as a viable fantasy weapon yet in KC's offense, but his speed and explosiveness are impressive, and he should have more opportunities this year with Sammy Watkins gone. He caught 41 passes for 560 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games (eight starts) in 2020 and has 10 total touchdowns in his two seasons with the Chiefs. You likely won't have to spend much to get him, and he could be in for a breakout season.
