3 years agoArizona Cardinals tight end Maxx Williams (illness) is not listed on the team's official injury report ahead of their Week 1 meeting with the Tennessee Titans. Williams missed the team's second preseason game with a non-COVID-19 illness, and the team had their final preseason game postponed due to Hurricane Ida in New Orleans. The seventh-year tight end is pretty much the starter in Arizona in name only because of his experience. Williams isn't an ideal pass-catcher, and the Cardinals offense has plenty of other weapons for quarterback Kyler Murray to exploit. The 27-year-old had eight receptions (10 targets) for 102 yards and a touchdown in nine games (eight starts) last year, and he has just 86 catches for 801 yards and five touchdowns since his rookie year in 2015.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
