1 year agoAtlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried (forearm, illness) will make his next minor-league rehab start for Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday. If all goes well, it will be his final rehab start before making his long-awaited return to Atlanta's starting rotation. Fried was initially supposed to make his final rehab start on Wednesday, but he had to be pushed back due to a stomach bug. As of right now, Fried's return to action should come later next week against the Chicago Cubs. It remains to be seen if he'll be on any kind of pitch count, but there's no denying the fact that Fried is an absolute fantasy ace when he's healthy.
