1 year agoAtlanta Braves left-hander Max Fried (finger) said he threw a bullpen session on Monday without tape protecting the small blister that developed on his left index finger during the final inning of last Tuesday's start against the Philadelphia Phillies. Fried will be ready to start at some point during the team's four-game series against the Washington Nationals later this week/weekend. The Braves skipped the 29-year-old southpaw's last turn through the rotation as a precaution now that they've already clinched the National League East division title. Fried has dealt with multiple injuries this year and has only made 13 starts for Atlanta, but when he's been out there he's been his All-Star self.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
