Washington Nationals catcher Matt Wieters left Thursday's game after pulling up lame while running to first base. Wieters was clutching the back of his knee and immediately waved to the dugout for help. The team is sending him for an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, but this one could be significant. Rookie backstop Pedro Severino will assume everyday catching opportunities if Wieters misses significant time. Severino might be worth an add if your fantasy squad is hurting for catching depth, but do not expect him to carry you to the title.--Phil Goyette
