Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Matt Tomkins collected his first career NHL win as he stopped 23-of-26 shots on goal in Tuesday's 5-3 victory against the Canadiens. The 29-year-old netminder was making his third career start in the road contest, and he was perfect through the opening two periods of the game prior to surrendering three goals in the final frame. Tomkins carries a record of 1-2-0 to go along with a 3.40 goals against average and .889 save percentage through three appearances, and he will continue to operate as the backup to goaltender Jonas Johansson, until starter Andrei Vasilevskiy (back) is able to return to the ice and make his regular season debut.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
