Matt Kuchar shot an even-par 71, 72, 73 and 72 to finish T51 at the Valero Texas Open. His made cut marks the 28th straight PGA Tour stroke-play event that Kuchar has made it to the weekend and 31st consecutive made cut if you include tournaments played overseas. One of those 31 made cuts did result in an MDF Saturday finish at the 2017 Players Championship, but Kuchar has not missed an outright cut since the 2017 Shell Houston Open. This weekend, Kuchar will team up with Bubba Watson at the Zurich Classic. Kuchar and Watson bring different mentalities to the golf course but make for an extremely interesting duo. Watson, who is a former winner at the Zurich Classic when it was a solo event in 2011, brings a much more aggressive approach to the table than Kuchar does. The good cop/bad cop style from Kuchar and Watson make them not only one of the favorites, but possibly the team to beat.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
