Matt Kenseth Turns In Strong Performance At Indianapolis
4 years agoBased on his career performance, Matt Kenseth's second-place finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday should have come as no surprise. Kenseth now has seven top-10 finishes in his last 10 races at the Brickyard. The runner-up finish is also the best performance of the year for the No. 42 team since Kenseth took over in April for Chip Ganassi Racing. Perhaps just as important, Kenseth posted a 113.3 driver rating, supporting the performance as a reflection of his talent rather than a product of luck. It may be difficult to trust Kenseth for fantasy purposes until he is able to string together multiple strong performances, but this is certainly a step in the right direction.
