Matt Gorski Showing Power At Triple-A
7 months agoPittsburgh Pirates outfield prospect Matt Gorski has been showcasing his raw power this past week and approaching his major league debut. In his past seven games, the 26-year-old has launched five home runs and tallied 13 RBI with a .310/.333/.897 line. Across 38 total games this season with Triple-A Indianapolis, he holds a .275/.308/.603 line with nine long balls, 37 RBI, and three swiped bags. This is a significant improvement compared to the .190/.262/.414 line he posted across 15 games at Triple-A last summer. Gorski should remain on your waiver wire for now but could be worth a speculative add in deeper leagues if he is promoted to the City of Bridges later this summer.
