Despite Matthew Fitzpatrick's tournament history showing two very strong appearances at the Wells Fargo the past couple of years, it's important to remember that the 2022 tournament was played in Maryland. Therefore, the 29-year-old will play Quail Hollow for just the third time in his career. Fitz played the course in 2017 as well, when the club hosted the PGA Championship, but he hit his irons terribly en route to a missed cut. Even still, the Englishman has been solid on approach since his T5 at THE PLAYERS, and his putter has been red hot.
