4 years agoThe Miami Dolphins activated running back Matt Breida from the Reserve/COVID-19 list on Wednesday. Breida hasn't played since Week 12 and has just 47 carries for 168 yards (career-low 3.6 yards per carry) and no touchdowns in his nine games played in his first year in Miami. Even if Myles Gaskin and rookie Salvon Ahmed aren't cleared from the COVID-19 list, it's hard to imagine Breida seeing a true workhorse role in his first game back. Plus, the Patriots Defense is their strength and won't be easy to run on by any means. Expect some sort of committee approach with Breida, DeAndre Washington and Patrick Laird involved if both Gaskin and Ahmed don't play.
