Washington Nationals first baseman Matt Adams hit a bomb Wednesday night against the Pirates and has now hit three home runs in his last two games. Adams, turning it on as of late, has hit four homers in his last six games and has also driven in 11 runs in that same time frame. Going forward, Adams is an effective option against righties. His 2018 OPS against righties now sits at 1.115. The Nationals next four games are all projected to be against right-handers -- Trevor Williams (PIT), Nick Pivetta (PHI), Vince Velasquez (PHI) and Jake Arrieta (PHI). He is a worthwhile addition if you are struggling at first base.--Phil Goyette
