6 months agoMinnesota Twins utility man Marwin Gonzalez (rest) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the White Sox. The 30-year-old will get a routine day of rest after making 15 consecutive starts, and should be right back in the lineup for Friday's series opener against the Tigers. Gonzalez has put together a monster stretch with a .385 batting average, 12 RBI, and 20 hits over the past two weeks. Overall on the season Gonzalez has produced 14 home runs, 47 RBI, and a .265 batting average, making him worth owning in mixed leagues with the multi positional eligibility. Jake Cave will fill in for Gonzalez in right field and bat ninth against White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
