6 years agoHouston Astros infielder/outfielder Marwin Gonzalez continues to struggle this season heading into the team's matchup with the A's on Wednesday. After slashing .263/.341/.474 in the month of June with two home runs, three triples and four doubles he has come crashing back to earth. Gonzalez led the team in 2017 with 90 runs driven in but is slugging only .375 with runners in scoring position this season. He still holds plenty of value on the team because of his ability to switch-hit and play so many positions around the diamond but the production simply isn't there. Gonzalez needs to remain on the waiver wire in all fantasy formats for the time being.--Joey C - RotoBaller
