San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones recorded his second consecutive win on Wednesday, stopping 39 of 40 shots in a 5-1 success against the Hurricanes. Jones has struggled recently, but he's ended a four-game losing streak in style, allowing only one goal in both of his recent wins, making a total of 79 saves. He was particularly impressive in the opening period against Carolina, stopping all 17 shots he faced. Jones improved his record for the season to 11-6-3.
