Marquise Blair's Season Is Over
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks safety Marquise Blair (knee) will have season-ending knee surgery after he was injured in the Monday night loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 7, according to head coach Pete Carroll. Blair suffered a fractured right patella (kneecap). It's the second straight year that the third-year player has suffered a season-ending knee injury after he tore the ACL in the same knee in 2020 in the second game of the season. Blair also tore the ACL in his left knee in college in 2017. He had been rotating with Ugo Amadi regularly at the nickel spot, so Amadi will become the full-time nickel with Blair out for the rest of the year.
